I rank sleep third as the basic life necessity, the first and second being air and water. We all have spent nights studying for exams (bdw never deprive your sleep for maths exam), completing assignments and projects. So at some point you might have wished that “sleep” didn’t exist and you might have drank cups of coffee to help you stay alert. Well then here is a good news: Scientists claim that sleep might become “a thing of the past”. They are developing new drugs which will allow one to survive on only two hours sleep a day, something which is becoming vital in this so called “24-hour society”. I hope they make this as soon as possible. What do you think?
Ok, this is my second post about sleep and is not going to be the last. At this point you might be wondering why iam so obsessed with sleep. Well, first of all its a fascinating topic which is why I frequently read articles about it in the encyclopedia. Every time you read about it you learn something new . Want to read about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep
Secondly, a new highway (Sharjah ringroad) has been built and unfortunately passes by my area. Obviously, the noise pollution has destroyed the peace which we had once upon a time and I can’t sleep well at night. I end up feeling sleepy in the class which I really hate. So far i had taken a good night’s sleep for granted but then I realized when I no longer had it. This provoked me to do a lil research about sleep.
