Another good article from Notes by Saquib Moosa.
Note For International Readers: 1 USD = 3.66 UAE DHS.
“I personally do not think there is another (electronic) product as popular. Automobile manufacturers now have iPod integration in their cars. There must be a hundred different accessories for the iPod and by different companies – Apple itself and then Griffin and Belkin, etc.
iPoD has it all – starting with carry cases, silicon covers and protective screen overlay films. An earphone splitter if you’ve got a friend who wants to listen to the same song, and if there are still more people, portable speakers will take care of that. These by a variety of manufacturers – Apple itself, if not Bose, Altec Lansing etc.
Still more accessories: put a little flashlight and laser pointer on your iPod with the iBeam from Griffin. And have you heard of Bluetooth for iPods? Well that’s there too. Some of these products aren’t available here.
Keep a lookout for compatibility issues. An accessory for an iPod video might not necessarily fit an iPod nano.
Docks
iPod Universal Dock – true to its name, it’s the standard docking station for charging and syncing to your computer. It connects to all iPods with a dock connector. Simply plug into your computer, and save yourself the trouble of having to go around the back every time. Dh160
Voice recorders
Griffin iTalk – a handy portable recorder when plugged into your iPod. And the ample storage on your iPod ensures you don’t run out of recording time. Dh115
Wireless remote
Griffin AirClick – plug your iPod into the music system and walk away with the little remote in hand. With a range of upto 60 feet you can play, pause, skip tracks, and control sound. You can’t get any lazier than this. Dh210
FM transmitters
Griffin RoadTrip – Stop! iPod user. Don’t buy that CD player for your car! This is your FM transmitter + charger + holder all rolled into one. The backlit screen on the RoadTrip displays the station and its removable transmitter can also broadcast music from your PC.
Xtra power
Griffin TuneJuice – Going on a long haul? Take along one of these. Put a 9 Volt battery into this little gizmo for that extra couple of hours. A little pricey at Dh190
OPTIMIZING YOUR iPOD
Apple recommends you do a complete decharge and charge cycle once a month. And keep away from extreme temperatures. Do away with the backlight and equalizer if you don’t need it, helps with increasing battery life.”

Click on the below picture of origami (not confirmed) and you will notice an icon labelled “Alexandria” on the top right of the device’s desktop, also on the right side of the current window title bar.

Is it another secretive Microsoft product or something related to Windows Media Video subscription system used in Vongo?
