Microsoft and its partners are in the process of development of initial vision of a new portable media device that allows users to listen to music, play video games, surf the net and take hand-written notes.
Origami, a clear rival to iPod and Sony Portable Game device, appears to have more functions and is larger. In a video shown on the website of Digital Kitchen, the device appears to be a tablet PC about the size of a “oversized postcard”. Possible uses shown are sketching picture, listening to music, playing Halo and use a map with GPS technology.
The website of Origami Project states to tell more about it today but nothing new is disclosed yet.
Microsoft Origami – Speculations.
Many questions are still out their about Microsoft Origami. Will it replace the Pocket PC? Is it just to compete with the Apple IPod? No one really knows yet. From what we can tell this device acts like a tablet computer.
